Sleepwalking my way through life: The colour grey

The colour grey

I’d like to apologise for the complete lack of entries theses days. Things have been building up and I’ve had little time to do anything.

But, in apology for my lack of writing, I have written another story. And you can get it here. It’s (basically) about a writer trying to convince a publisher to put forward his story.

The colour grey.

I don't like the ending. I don't get it. But other than that was pretty good. Liked the subtle but pointed parts: like the mark left by his wedding band after it was taken off....helps you to understand why his lead character is the way he is.

Many people seem to be agreeing in regards to the ending; it's a bit excessive and they don't understand it.
It was from the original version of the story; I had made it so that at the end of the book the main character put the gun to his head and closed his eyes, finally being able to rest. So William began to pray for David so he would have the strength not to mirror his character.
I took it out though. I felt that killing himself would show some emotion, which contradicts David's description. I thought that his praying would still fit in with the story, but I guess I was wrong.

Something to remember for next time then...
