Oh, the brilliance

Ever since the World Cup started, the sale of Mars bars in Scotland has plummeted due to Mars’ support of England in the World Cup.

I believe the Scottish hate on the English for no apparent reason, or a reason that died hundreds of years ago. I don't hate Scottish people unfarily, so why whould they hate my unfairly, they haven't even met me.

Anyway thats quite an interesting bit of information!

It's merely a generalisation, like how people say "I hate Americans". Usually, England is disliked due to the fact that Scotland is left out of a lot of things. The Mars adverts for the World Cup are a perfect example (for those who don't know, the Mars advert is basically saying 'we want England to win, go England'). Mars displays this advert in Scotland too, expecting Scotland to go along with it and support England because we should be united as a whole. And I won't even go into what NI/Wales thinks about it either.

Don't take it personally though.
